 -

JCWCC opened it’s doors nearly eight years ago in August of 1992. It has experienced a steady growth employing six young African-American computer professionals and servicing many Philadelphia based businesses, non-profit organizations and home computer enthusiast. Its president, Joel C. Wilson, was the City Wide Organizer for the recent 2000 Black Family Technology Awareness Week activities. The JCWCC Computer Training Institute was designed to respond to the ever-increasing request of the African-American community for comprehensive computer lessons that deal with real world problems.  The FREE workshops on April 8, 2000 are “Computer Basics”, “Understanding Windows 98”, “Using the Internet” and,  “Youth & Technology” which will include a virtual Black College Tour via the Internet.   Workshops classes will be held in the office’s classroom space and include an interactive discussion with the instructors so that participants can ask explicit questions.   There is limited enrollment capacity for the classes and  R.S.V.P is required.

 -

This event is free and open to the public. JCW COMPUTER CONSULTING is located in Overbrook Park section of the city, 7478 Rhoads Street, Suite C.  For additional information and to R.S.V.P. for FREE computer workshops please call  JCW COMPUTER CONSULTING  at 215.879.6701.
